If you’re at the initial stage of deciding what kind of Counselling or support you are seeking it may be useful to have a look at the services offered and explore links I have provided on the website to help with your decision.

I do both long and short term work with people of 16 years and over. I believe in the value and dignity of my client(s) whatever race, gender, sexuality, class or creed.

I aim to create the conditions in which my clients can discover their own potential and truth through our shared dialogue.

My Personal Approach

The principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy form the foundation to my counselling approach.  However, based on the individual needs of each client or couple, the principles of behavior analysis, solution-focus, narrative and systems therapies are also used in my approach in the helping process.

I will help you to understand the beliefs you have because of your experiences. Sometimes that will involve exploring a little of the past in order to move on in the present.  It’s creating a new present that really counts.

I’m am expert at finding the changes that give your communication the most leverage!  I’ll show you small adjustments you can make in how you communicate. These small changes will make a big difference in your ability to feel close, to understand and be understood and to love and be loved.

Once you smooth out your communication, you will feel more flexible and in control, so you can create fresh solutions for your problems.

Everyone gets discouraged about themselves or their relationship from time to time. But you don’t have to settle for a medico life.  I’ve been counselling for over 10 years.  Learning the right information and new tools can make all the difference.
